Scranton (Pa.) Lackawanna C.C. tight end Trevon Wesco and he told me he has had some discussions with the West Virginia staff but just interest right now. He does have an offer from Monmouth and is receiving interest from a long-list of other programs including Pittsburgh, Penn State and Arizona. Wesco is from West Virginia and attended Mussleman High School where he starred as a wide receiver and a quarterback and moved to tight end once he got to junior college. He is still developing as a blocker but can catch the football and told me that he is excited to see what he does this season with the job solely his after sharing it last season. Wesco grew up a fan of West Virginia but told me he isn't going to let that influence his college choice moving forward as he wants to keep his options open. He will have three years to play two when he graduates and right now is contemplating taking classes during the summer so he can enroll in December.
