Largo (Fla.) Pinellas Park defensive tackle Jordon Scott is up to 25 offers with one of those coming from West Virginia. Standing 6-foot-1, 350-pounds, Scott has offers from Florida State, Florida, Indiana, UCF, Minnesota and a number of other schools as well as the Mountaineers. West Virginia offered Scott yesterday after a few coaches stopped by the school and informed his coach that they were entering the picture. He has yet to visit anybody outside the state of Florida but told me he is going to look into West Virginia to see what the program has to offer. One positive for the Mountaineers is the fact that he is the cousin of former cornerback Ricky Rumph and will be able to pick his brain about the football program moving forward. Scott finished last season with 80 tackles and 9 sacks and coaches have been impressed with his feet and quickness at his size. Scott told me he plans to graduate early so he can enroll at the school he picks.
