Cincinnati (Oh.) Princeton 2025 linebacker Khy’lek Jarrett told me that West Virginia had been in contact with him since October but the coaching staff dropped by his school and it led to defensive coordinator Jordan Lesley extending him a scholarship offer. The Mountaineers like him as an outside linebacker or pass rusher and the coaching staff sees him as a great fit for what the coaches want to do. The program likes his athleticism, length and speed as well as his ability to cover. He's familiar with the history of the program and his head coach actually coached David Long. There are no schools standing out right now but he plans to visit Morgantown soon.
