West Virginia offered a new wide receiver target yesterday and today I got off the phone with Waxhaw (N.C.) Marvin Ridge 2017 wide receiver Emeka Emezie. He told me that he had been talking to West Virginia for some time but the offer from the Mountaineers is one that he had really been waiting to receive. Lonnie Galloway is expectedly the lead recruiter here and he told me that he plans to visit several schools this summer including a stop at West Virginia. Last season was his first full year on the varsity level and he accounted for over 1,000 yards and nine touchdowns receiving and college coaches have focused in on his deep ball ability, coupled with his route running and hands. Emezie has seven scholarships right now but is one to watch as he starts the visit process.
