Columbia (Tn.) quarterback Tylin Oden told me that today was the first time he had spoken to the West Virginia coaches after they followed him on twitter, but he quickly was able to get JaJuan Seider on the phone and that's when the Mountaineers extended a scholarship offer to the rising senior. Oden has 10 scholarship offers with Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Louisville among the ones that have already joined the picture for Oden. He is a dual-threat style quarterback scoring 15 passing, 13 rushing touchdowns a season ago and he remains completely open in his recruitment. West Virginia is a school that really interests him and he plans to visit Morgantown as soon as possible to get a look at the school and the offensive system more in depth.
