Cameron (N.C.) Union Pines defensive end Taijh Alston is currently committed to East Carolina but he told me that he is very excited over his offer from West Virginia. He has developed a close bond with defensive line coach Bruce Tall and the Mountaineers are in need of a tall, athletic defensive end in this class. Alston remains committed to ECU but he told me he will definitely take an unofficial visit to West Virginia this summer and also will be taking an official visit this fall. Alston is an early enrollee and wants to take all five of his official visits and then make a final decision on where he wants to attend college. West Virginia is definitely one to watch here.
