—Well first of all, having four quality bigs to rotate is NEVER a going to be considered a problem. The 6-foot-7 forward is going to be just another valuable piece to this West Virginia roster as an athletic big that is going to provide a spark on the defensive end as well as with his rebounding.

—It’s safe to assume that West Virginia wouldn’t have applied for this unless they planned on using Osabuohien this season and he could immediately slide in as a four on this team. He passes the ball well for a big and his shown that he can score the basketball as well although his shot needs to develop. He is going to likely sap some minutes from Logan Routt but in the process is going to allow the Mountaineers to commit even further to the theory that their bench can allow their players to go full out and use their numbers to beat teams.

—Osabuohien was known for his defense during his time at Arkansas and he is active on that end. He has long arms to deny and deflect passes and the versatility to defend several different body types as well. He’s going to be a natural fit in the Big 12.

—This move just makes an another deep West Virginia team even deeper and gives Huggins another tool in the tool box to work with. He’s going to have two years left and while it seemed dicey this would he approved it’s a major win for this years team. Things just keep coming up roses for the basketball program of late.
