Then please sign me up for more "low-quality", but exciting play...because I can't watch any more of that crap those two are slinging. Dull as dirt! When Alabama and LSU get together, it is absolutely must-miss viewing for me.
Games like Texas Tech vs Oklahoma, Texas tech vs Texas might be exciting if you like points but it's shit football. Very poor quality play. It's one of the reasons the big 12 gets ridiculed by the national media. The defensive lines of Alabama and Lsu are far superior to anything the Big 12 has. LSU might look boring but they rolled Texas tech last year in their bowl game by pounding the hell out of them.
I'm not disputing they each have 55 future NFL defensive linemen, I'm just saying it makes for horseshit viewing. When the offenses can't even begin to move the ball, that's not entertaining. Hell, Alabama didn't even run a play from LSU territory until 6:30 remained in the half--and they won. Those 2 squads together are so excruciating it makes soccer look like arena football.
I thought Hurts was the difference in the game. His mobility gave Bama an added dimension. Its hard for any Qb to look good against the quality of defensive play that LSU and bama Bring. Most of the Qb' in the big 12 would get eaten for breakfast against the pass rush that bama and Lsu would generate.
