I gather he would like to go pro and part of coming here and starting right away was to build a resume to leave. So my thoughts:
1. He's a world better than Doege.
2. His mobility (or lack therein) is a negative. Can't roll him out and does not seem to move fluidly in the pocket.
3. It is a really strong QB class coming out.
4. Hooker from Tenn is like 24 years old and coming back for this season has clearly helped him.
5. As old as he is, he hasn't started a lot of games - seeing more playing time couldn't hurt.
6. I think he has an NFL arm but is not an NFL QB - right now at least.
7. My ideal plan would be him come back, Greene to slot, Nico becomes clear #2. Unfortunately, Crowder leaves.
8. I think he tests draft process and gets enough feedback to come back for another year.
