As I posted last year:

‘Twas the night before signing day and all through the land, prospects were waiting with pens in their hands. The college coaches pace backwards and forwards awaiting the news, as morning will bring letters of intent to their schools. By bunches and bunches until each class is full with hat games and props and even some old fashioned surprises to boot. So sit back, relax and get a good night’s sleep, because tomorrow is the one day a year where recruiting is king.

West Virginia has 21 known commitments with ten of those already enrolled in school.

Already enrolled:
Charleston (W.Va.) South Charleston safety Derrek Pitts
Ellisville (Miss.) Jones J.C. offensive tackle Kelby Wickline
Torrance (Ca.) El Camino C.C. wide receiver David Sills
New Orleans (La.) Landry-Walker athlete Tevin Bush
Morgantown (W.Va.) linebacker Maverick Wolfley
Senatobia (Miss.) Northwest Mississippi C.C. defensive end Quondarius Qualls
Senatobia (Miss.) Northwest Mississippi C.C. defensive tackle Jalen Harvey
Riverside C.C. (Ca.) wide receiver Dominique Maiden
Council Bluffs (Ia.) Iowa Western C.C. cornerback Hakeem Bailey
Scooba (Miss.) East Mississippi C.C. defensive end Ezekiel Rose

Commitments:

Mesquite (Tx.) Horn wide receiver Reggie Roberson - 9 a.m.
Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage running back Alec Sinkfield - 9:30 a.m.
Deerfield Beach (Fla.) defensive lineman Lamonte McDougle - 11 a.m.
Pittsburgh (Pa.) Iamni Christian safety Kenny Robinson - morning
Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson safety Eugene Brown - morning
Ligonier (Pa.) Ligonier Valley Central safety Collin Smith - 8 a.m.
Scranton (Pa.) Lackawanna College offensive lineman Isaiah Hardy - 8:30 a.m.
Johnstown (Pa.) cornerback Exree Loe - 7 a.m.
Fairmont (W.Va.) Fairmont Senior defensive end Darius Stills - 12 p.m.
Landsdale (Pa.) North Penn Senior athlete Ricky Johns - 7 a.m.
Buford (Ga.) offensive lineman Tyler Thurmond - 7 a.m.

--West Virginia has one known target remaining in Springfield (Oh.) wide receiver Danny Davis and he is expected to make his college choice sometime around 2:30 p.m. at his high school. This one continues to be a tough read but the feedback I've gotten is that Wisconsin is expected to be the pick. That doesn't mean it will be the Badgers, but that's where the most confidence seems to be.

--Outside of that West Virginia should have a pretty "uneventful," signing day outside the possibility of a surprise but right now I can say that I have heard nothing to make me think that is going to happen. It looks like the Mountaineers should end the day with either 21 or 22 commitments and any other additions in the class are more likely to come in the weeks after signing day. I never say never when it comes to possible surprises but right now this one appears to be pretty cut and dry.
