Herd plays in G5. That means, if you go undefeated, you have a chance to play a decent P5 team in a big boy's bowl. Lose a game, you go to Boca Raton or St. Pete.
I have no idea why the G5 and P5 are still members of the same Division. Makes no sense to me.

They let the cute little CBS map proclaiming them to be the best team in the state go to their heads. It's embarrassing to have our new "flagship" represent our state so poorly.
Marshall never was as good as their W-L record indicates. Over the past 1 2/3 football seasons the Herd has exactly ONE win over a team with a winning record.

Same could be said for a number of teams a lot of seasons. WVU this season has beat 1 FBS school
with a winning record. 5-3 KSU
True..........but I think you would have to agree that WVU plays a much tougher schedule than Marshall does.
I don't disagree with that but sometimes great or good teams can't control who they play. I've never faulted a team for who they've played.
Especially not true when a weak wannabe team from a weak conference tries to dictate terms when dealing with a P-5 program............
I guarantee at least one herd fan has that CBS map printed out and framed next to scoreboard photos of when Marshall was up on WVU in 2010. Probably hanging right next to framed losses.

Wannabe be hanged ! If wou want them scheduled work it out, don't want to play them sign with someone else. Nobody holds a gun to your head forcing you to sign !!
