MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (November 26, 2019) – Following one of the most successful seasons in program history, season tickets and mini-packages for the 2020 West Virginia University baseball season are on sale now. Fans can join the excitement of WVU baseball at Monongalia County Ballpark by purchasing tickets at WVUGAME.com, calling 1-800-WVU GAME or visiting the Mountaineer Ticket Office at the WVU Coliseum.

Season tickets and mini-packages are a great way to support Mountaineer baseball and purchase tickets below single-game prices. Season tickets are for all 24 home games, while mini-packages are for anywhere between four and 10 games.

For the 24-game home schedule, season tickets are $150 each for reserved seating in the five sections behind home plate and $120 for reserved seating behind the first- and third-base dugouts. WVU faculty and staff members can purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $120 behind home plate and $96 behind the dugouts. Discounted tickets for faculty and staff can only be purchased in person at the Mountaineer Ticket Office.

Three different mini-packages also are available for fans this season: The Flex mini-pack, Friday Night Lights mini-pack and the Mountaineer mini-pack.

The Flex mini-package is 10 tickets for $50 and allows fans to purchase 10 tickets and use them at any combination of games. Specific seat locations will be redeemable at the gate on game days on a first come, first serve basis.

The Friday Night Lights mini-package includes tickets to all four Friday Big 12 games. The package is $24 for seats behind home plate and $20 behind the dugouts. This season, WVU is set to host conference foes Texas (April 3-5), Kansas State (April 17-19), Oklahoma State (April 24-26) and Baylor (May 1-3) at Monongalia County Ballpark.

The Mountaineer mini-pack features tickets to each Saturday Big 12 contest, as well as the College of Charleston game on May 9, and the regular-season home finale against Pitt on May 12. The six-game package costs $36 behind home plate and $30 behind the dugouts.

All seating at Monongalia County Ballpark is reserved.

Priority season tickets are available to 2019-20 Mountaineer Athletic Club (MAC) members and 2019 WVU baseball season-ticket holders. Fans can keep their previous seat locations by renewing by Monday, Jan. 6. Fans also can purchase new season tickets now.

To renew or purchase new season tickets, call 1-800-WVU GAME, visit WVUGAME.com or visit the Mountaineer Ticket Office in the WVU Coliseum.

Seat locations for season tickets will be allocated based on MAC annual giving level and priority points rank within your giving level. Seat locations will be assigned to non-MAC members following the completion of the priority allocation process.

The Mountaineers enjoyed a record-setting season last spring, finishing with a record of 38-22, the most wins under coach Randy Mazey and second-most ever. WVU, which finished 18-7 at home in 2019, reached the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three years, and it hosted its first NCAA Regional since 1955. West Virginia also played in the Big 12 Championship Final for the second time in four seasons.

A program-record eight Mountaineers were selected in the 2019 MLB Draft, including right-handed pitcher and 11th-overall pick, Big 12 Pitcher of the Year and first-team All-American Alek Manoah, while 11 earned All-Big 12 honors, most in program history. Additionally, Mazey was named the Big 12 Coach of the Year last season after leading the squad to a top-25 ranking in each of the final eight weeks of the season.

The strong support of Mountaineer Nation was certainly felt throughout the spring in Morgantown, as the team’s single-game attendance record at Monongalia County Ballpark was broken three times, highlighted by a crowd of 4,355 that watched the NCAA Regional in Morgantown on May 31.

Along with WVU’s four Big 12 home series, the Mountaineers also will host Canisius on Feb. 18, marking the earliest home opener in program history. WVU is set to welcome Liberty to Morgantown on March 11, as well as George Mason from March 27-29, Maryland on April 7, Akron on April 14, Marshall on April 21, the College of Charleston from May 8-10 and Pitt on May 12.
