I have been thinking about the schedule makers in the Big 12 and the final two weekends before LOI signing day.
It appears to me that WVU, OU, ISU and OSU got royally screwed. None of these 4 have a home basketball game on either of the last two weekends. Whereas, KU, BU, TCU and KSU got home basketball games both weekends. TU and TT got split 1 and 1 home and away.
Since a great home crowd at a basketball game can help football coaches recruit kids and parents (ask Don Nehlen if you don't believe me), I think the conference is obligated to split the two weekends before signing day equally 1 home and 1 away. That's only fair.
Note, I am dumbfounded that three of the games on the 30th (WVU,TT and OSU) are away SEC matchup games. So we get to travel to Gainesville to help UF recruit thanks to the Big 12 schedule makers.
If I am Shane Lyons I am demanding that the 10 conference members are treated more equally on thee two important weekends. I do not believe in an anti-WVU conspiracy, but I do believe we need to fight for what's right for our school.
