poor game management and play calling........I'm ready for basketball season......leaving in an hour for a two day golf thing in Richmond...and I told you KC.. nuts by at least 20

Take note that Sled had to start a thread after another embarrassing WVU loss because fans of other programs chose to leave y'all alone last night. I haven't watched any of WVU's game yet, but am stunned that on a Homecoming/stripe the stadium game against a mediocre opponent that had just given up 70 points to the underachieving Longhorns, and was missing its starting QB, RB, best receiver, stud center, and three defensive backs, WVU got shut out 17-0 in the First Half. I hope that y'all enjoyed the moral victory at Oklahoma last week, as you just canceled that out with yesterday's pathetic performance. Slogans don't win championships.

Ohio State looked like a Top 10 team for the first time yesterday, but it was against Rutgers, so I'm not going to get carried away.

Yeah, we have problems - not sure if it's coaching or lack of talent. I'm gonna say a little of both. But y'know what - WVU is and always will be my favorite team no matter what.

It's a lack of a lot of things. Over management and over thinking by coaches = poor calls. No QB whatsoever. Can have a perfect drive going until they cross the 10 then shit falls apart. Switching OC and QB in red zone makes for a circus show.

Doege must have dirty pictures of Brown somewhere. Very young offensive line that is not improving. Thanks to the AD and staff we signed an extension last year and are now stuck with Mr. Bean for at least 2 more years.

I read this post and thought I was on a Marshall board. Same problem down in Hton, but I, too, will stick with them.

I have to laugh at the delusional homers who turn their heads away from car wrecks to pronounce to the World that they're loyal fans of the same schools for forever. I've rooted for all of the same schools and professional teams since I was a little kid. Do I get a cookie for that? Trophy? Blue ribbon? Will my Cincinnati Reds not suck again at some point in my life because I've rooted for them since I was five years old? #Pathetic

I have to believe there is hope for the Reds when some of these damn contracts we foolishly bestowed on players run out. Hope is all we have!

The Reds suck. September was all set up for them. The Reds were leading the second wild card race and had an incredibly easy schedule down the stretch, with series vs. the Pirates, Nationals, Cubs, and Tigers, but pi$$ed down their legs. They lost eight series in a row, as the Cardinals won 17 consecutive games, and blew by them. David Bell is an idiot, but the fools in the front office gave him a two-year extension after Bell had sh!t the bed in September. How will next season be any better? It won't be, as key cogs like Castellanos will leave for bigger contracts, and the Reds will be battling with the Pirates and Cubs for the N.L. Central's basement in 2022. I hope that you enjoyed the 1990 season, as that will be the last World Series title that the Reds will win in our lifetimes.

Somewhat agree...we're hostage to the Votto contract ( know he had a good season for an old man), the Suazez contract for a .191 hitter. The Shogo nonsense( whoever scouted him should incenterated as firing would not be good enough), the Moose contract ( good thing we don't pay him by the pound). I agree Castellanos is gone.

Akiyama has to be the worst Japanese player ever to play in MLB. A .200 slap hitter with no power. Moustakas is as soft as Charmin and terrible when he does play. He's stealing a lot of money from the Reds, but is supposedly a great clubhouse guy, so the media fan boys don't ever criticize him. He's an awful third baseman, and with India locking down second, he should be the team's DH next season, assuming that the DH is adopted full time in the N.L. Suarez' batting average has fallen off of a cliff the last two seasons, but at least he's still hitting home runs.

Maybe we can shop Shogo back to a Japanese club if we eat a chuck of his salary. Nobody will take Moose or Eugenio off our hands!
