So, based on this, we would be about 17 point favorites at home and 11 point favorites in Herdzakhistan.
That can't be right, hasn't Sagarin checked the coaches poll?
What we have (once again), are a bunch of morons who don't understand how the Sagarin rating system works. Rifle has explained this annually for the last dozen years or so, but still, most of you are too narrow headed to understand.
I believe you have us confused with Pitt fans. Some day--not in my lifetime, of course--WVU will finish No. 1 in Sagarin, but lose its last game, and the prominent delusional wing of its fanbase will claim a national championship. #Desperation

Yes, Mr. Depends, those are all factored into play. For example, Team A could play the top 12 teams in the country, lose all 12 games, and still maintain a high ranking within Sagarin, based solely on SOS. Hell, we can use WVU EVERY YEAR in this example.
Not to mention, Stone Cold still owes me $100.00 for the Herd finishing ahead of WVU in the Sagarin poll a couple years back. But, like most, he didn't pay up, so my charity had to go without his donation.

Pitt claims 9 titles most of which came pre WWII where some newspaper ranked them #1. Are you mad because my handle is not 12-0vsMVU or wonlast7vsosu. Those are expected results. Not at all. Pittsburgh actually has won NCAA national championships in a sport that matters. Its fans might live in the past, but I don't think that a WVU fan with a handle boasting about peach-basket era victories over UNC has any room to talk about this subject.
