Chattanooga (Tn.) McCallie School 2025 safety Carson Lawrence told me that he thought the visit was great and he really loved the atmosphere for his official visit on campus. He was glad to get the opportunity to interact with the players and he really enjoyed going out on the lake. The coaches told him that he's a priority for them at safety and at the top of their list. Secondary coach ShaDon Brown believes that he has a chance to contribute early and they believe he would fit in great with what they do with the safeties. Cornerback Garnett Hollis was his host and he told me that West Virginia is definitely one of his top schools and he can really see himself having success there. As for when a final decision could come, the Vanderbilt commitment told me that he plans to talk to his parents but is scheduled to head to Mississippi this weekend then Vanderbilt and finally Virginia Tech in June.
