Sad state of program 5-7, 6-4 (with G5 bowl win) and now 6-7

The bowl loss was about the worst performance of a bowl team (ANY bowl team) this year. WVU looked and was INEPT on offense the entire day. One player didn't make that happen (Leddie).

Its three years in, going on four. As expected another losing season.

So two five win regular seasons and a 6 win regular season. 6 of 17 wins against FCS schools and Kansas. 7 of the remaining 11 wins vs. teams with losing records. ONLY 4 wins against teams with winning records in the G5 or power 5 over THREE years. 8-5 KState, 6-4 TCU and 7-6 ISU and G5 Army.

What is being done to fix this? This is happening at the worst possible time for WVU with all the realignment happening and likely about to happen.

It is the coaching. The HEAD COACH that is responsible for this mess.

I agree 100%. Head coach is the CEO. He gets the credit and the blame. And ONLY 4 wins against teams with winning records in the G5 or power 5 over THREE years is unacceptable. No more excuses. Do it in 2022 or screw it and get another head coach! I'm rooting for "do it!" because, at 89, I don't know how many more ho-hum seasons I can take. Win, don't alibi! Trust the Climb? Show us a reason to do that! So far, it's not a Climb, it's a stagger to the finish line!
