WVU fans probably remember seeing Shelton Gibson blow by Big 12 defensive backs the last couple of years. Gibson has a run a 4.5, 40 yard dash at the combine in Indy. This isn't a bad time, but isn't elite, either. The Buckeyes starting corners, Marshon Lattimore and Gareon Conley, both have run faster times than Gibson. Recruiting guru Dane Brugler of CBS Sports thinks that Gibson benefited from lining up against slow Big 12 defenses. If you are a draft nerd and like to listen to such things, there is a good draft show on the Dallas Cowboys web site: http://www.dallascowboys.com/video/2017/03/04/draft-show-live-2017-nfl-combine-day-4. Gibson was talked about at the 10-15 minute mark.

UM had a linebacker faster than Gibson. B1G is slow, unless of course, you have to play against them on the field.

It's March. Of course you two want to discuss football.
What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be busy making a fool out of yourself over on the off topic forum?

What's wrong with talking football and basketball at the same time? It's March, and UM usually has much more success than you, so why would I refrain from talking hoops?

You'll have to excuse CuntryTard. She's been out of sorts since the November election, and doesn't realize that the NFL Combine is live, and spring football starts in Columbus and other cities tomorrow, so there might be a reason or two to discuss football.

You're projected to be a 9 seed. At least you made the tourney.

At least we made it? Michigan has made it 27 times, which includes 7 trips to the final four, 1 national title, and an all time record of 52-25. WVU has also made it 27 times, with only 2 trips to the final four, 0 national titles, and a record of only 27-27.

Did you really want to talk about basketball, seeing as it's March?

Of course, we're projected as a 4 seed. Your first team, the Turd won't get in the dance and your fake arch rival isn't going to make the dance.

Reactions: Motown Mounty
No, I don't think that CuntryTard wants to talk too much about basketball with me, either. Ohio State has hit a rough patch right now, but is still better than the 13-19 Mountaineers of a few years ago. Oh, and I can always fall back on 31 NCAA Tournament appearances, a National Championship, 11 Final Fours, and a 55-30 NCAA Tournament record, all of which dwarfs WVU's resume.

Let's talk here and now. You aint making the dance. Go back to the glory years when the present isn't so sweet. Poor fella.

Go back to the glory years? Ohio State has a current streak of 12 consecutive 20-win seasons, which it still has a chance to extend even in this bad season. Moreover, the Buckeyes have been to the Final Four and National Championship Game more recently than the Old Fold & Blew. Thad Matta, who still coaches in Columbus for now, has won nine conference championships, including five regular season titles, and four tournament crowns. Thugs hasn't won his first regular season title in Morganhole, and beat a bunch of lower seeds to win his only conference tournament championship in 2010. No need to resort to the "glory years," Jack.
