Richmond has 2 good post players and a ton of really good 3-point shooters

They returned 4 of their top 5 scorers from a team that fell just outside the bubble last season.

They are a legit Tourney team and a front runner for the A10 championship, IMO

A good top 50 RPI opponent but they struggle to play with pace, which is where WVU thrives

Against the same opponent, Bethune Cookman, they gave up 20 more points than WVU and managed to score 10 less themselves

Noticed that Arkansas-Little Rock upset San Diego State in the Vegas preliminaries. It was a low-scoring game -- both teams in the 40s. SDS is taking it out on East Carolina tonight, though.

We will need to guard the 3 better to beat Richmond. If we do, Cal should be the next opponent. Cal is loaded this year.

Interesting but meaningless. Comparative scores don't do much. I know the playoff committee is looking at how Notre Dame and Oklahoma did against Texas. But I shrug off comparative scores. Eyeballs tests work best, but then everyone has different eyeballs.

For now:
Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma State/Oklahoma winner and Big 10 champ.
Now, if we can just get Stanford to beat Notre Dame, that will get the committee off the hook.

Comparative analysis in basketball works just fine when the two games happen within a few days of one another.....

And not sure why tou started talking football yet again in a basketball concersation....

Anyways, as Huggs said in the post game, Richmond wont attack the glass like we do so WVU come out and capitalize on 2nd chance points. If that happens, it might not be a very close game at all

I'm looking forward to this game, this is by far the best competition WVU has faced so far this year.

Guys mark this down, WVU goes to the NCAA tourment as a 5th Seed and makes it to sweet 16 you saw it here first..

Oh... ...so without any idea who we'll play (if we make the dance) you predict two wins.... ...yet not a third, fourth, or fifth ?

You can be sure it will be Kentucky at some point since we always seem to be in the same bracket.

..or a Kentucky like team.

We're a gimmick type team. Fun to watch....but not gonna contend for a title... ...even in our own conference.

We were a Jevon Carter foul shot at Kansas from sharing the B12 title last season I believe

I also believe VCU made it to the Final Four 4 seasons ago with our style of play too

Do you even know what a gimmick is? This is our style of play just like Calapari's style is to recruit 1 and dones.
