AN EXCERPT:

"Did he put his finger in his face? No, he didn't," Brandon Marshall said on Mike & Mike on ESPN Radio. "Geno Smith, he didn't do anything wrong that day. It's just an unfortunate situation."

In other news...

....by all accounts Marshall and Smith spent a lot of the offseason together and bonded to become friends.... ...and Brandon Marshall doesn't have a reputation as being a man with high integrity.

With that out of the way, it could be completely true.

it's the first quote from a guy that was there and saw it happen. i'll go ahead and believe it.

the new york media putting this on geno is just what those clowns do. it's tough, low class town.

So the PaperBoy thinks Geno is just having the New York media put things on poor Geno. PaperBoy...........get your head out of that fashion magazine and be the man you ought to be!

Two ways to read it, you can say "damn it took a week for someone to stick up for Geno, this is clearly BS and the locker room doenst respect Geno" or "the rest of the locker room, trying not to snitch on their former teammate in fear of jeopardizing his career in the league stayed quiet for him, and now that he is signed by his former coach they are speaking out now that he is personally stable and is a member of the enemy (division rival Buffalo)".
