Republican Jeff Landry has won the Louisiana Governors race and flipped the seat with 52 percent of the vote.

What the media isn’t quite telling you
- in flipping the Louisiana governor’s mansion away from the Dems, there were actually 8 GOP candidates in the race, and 2 Dems.

The Republican candidates had 64.5% of the vote together, the Dems 28.5%, for a 36 point margin.

Landry won with a narrow majority.

In the last race’s first round (2019), the three GOP candidates split the vote and wound up with a 51.9% to 47.4% edge over the two Dems, including the incumbent governor who went on to win the runoff narrowly.

While off-cycle elections are not necessarily indicative of presidential sentiment, that’s a 31.5% swing toward GOP gubernatorial candidates in four years in a working class state with tons of blue dogs, and that also tells me there’s a major shift in the black vote underway (and southern black vote is the most loyal to Dems regionally).

This the part the media must keep quiet at all costs. If it becomes better known that more Blacks are voting for Republicans in record numbers, Democrats know they're finished because the race card is still probably one of THE major tactics they utilize to suppress Black votes for Republicans.

They want Blacks and Latinos thinking all Conservative/Republicans are either racists or White Supremacists. That helps to keep them pushing that narrative even though none of them can ever back it up. They use it to harvest ballots (cheat) and then blame Republicans for "voter suppression". They use it to justify race based hiring, and minority set asides in government funding. They use it to justify on demand tax payer funded abortions with no restrictions, claiming it will effect unmarried poor minority women the most because they are unable to care for children they can't afford. However it doesn't stop there. Oh Noooooo!

They use it to keep funding race based social spending programs through confiscatory taxation & income redistribution. They use it to prevent school choice reforms and vouchers, claiming it's just a giveaway to rich White folks who don't really need them. They use it to justify their open border policies, where they allow illegals into this country in record numbers simply to facilitate more illegal ballot harvesting. They also use it to keep Republicans from cutting spending on wasteful or needless social programs, claiming cuts will disproportionately effect people of color. They even use it to support their dangerous and worthless "green" policies, claiming poor people can't afford the rising costs of fossil fuels which they create by limiting our ability to expand domestic supplies!

In short the race card is their whole social & economic agenda! If Republicans break that lock Dems have on minority voters, they know they can never win another national election again. They can't win as it is anyway unless they cheat. Without black votes, they can't even cheat or outright win any more races. That's why they are so desperate to keep influential Black Conservatives off the air, influencing even more voters. That's why they ignore any up and coming smart Black Conservatives and never interview or promote them. That's why they must keep Blacks fearful of a Conservative majority, and keep calling Trump supporters racists or White supremacists.

It's nothing but race baiting to keep them from losing Black support permanently.
