Just 6 years ago, we were a top 20 team who went into a neutral site game vs an SEC team and throttled them. I remember being at the hotel bar in Charlotte the night before the game and chatting with Tennessee fans who shared how envious they were of where our football program was and how they wanted to get back there.
6 years later and we haven’t been ranked since Browneye took over and now we make excuses about how the schedule is too hard and how we shouldn’t play openers against that quality of opponent.
