I am assuming NB is gone after the end of the year. I think, besides being an excellent coach and recruiter, one of the attributes must be to minimize the loss of current players (the ones we want to keep) and recruits. The best way to accomplish that is with a name or splash hire. Getting another NB type coach from a lower quality school with little name recognition is not the answer, imo. So who are some names WVU should reach out to? I don't know enough about college football outside of WVU to offer many options but here goes:

3. Urban Meyer (laugh all you want but I heard he needs a job, lol)
4. Hugh Freeze (small school but he has good name recognition)
5. Rich Rod (some will tear out their eyes but he does have name recognition)
6. Luke Fickell (make another run at him, maybe his kids have graduated from high school)
7. Paul Chryst
8. Byron Leftwich
9. Deion Sanders
