Recruiting tip for Herd fans to pass along to Doc....

20 arrests for WVU
16 arrests for MU
And you need the wins, you can have him

two more for Doc...

KALAMAZOO - The two former Western Michigan University football players accused of robbing a woman with a gun and knife no longer are on the team.

Wide receiver Bryson White and linebacker Ron George were dismissed Sunday, Aug. 28, following a notice of suspension a day prior, according to a news release. George and White were arrested shortly after police say they pushed their way into an off-campus apartment Friday night near California and Michigan avenues and robbed a woman. They allegedly took cash and some property in the heist.

Jail time doesn't get Holgs nearly as excited as finding players from JUCO ranks.

The Ear livelihood depends on them nowadays.

Awesome getting kids from the JUCO ranks. Our wonderful state isn't a hotbed for recruits. Better than depending on recruits getting kicked out of other schools.

Compare to raping hotel maids?

If you don't want the bet, you just have to say so, it's cool man. But after you called me a retard, I would think you would have the balls to take the bet. Marshall getting 11 points against Louisville for $100.

Louisville is tough. I haven't seen them play a full game, but damn, based on highlights I've seen, they have a lot of talent. Wish I could watch the FSU Card game on Saturday, but will be at the UM game. That's the problem with attending games. You miss out on pretty much the rest of the games going on. If I had to guess, I would figure Louisville to be 17-20 point favorites, but line could be impacted based on what happens this weekend. Herd may have all they can handle this week against Akron.

Marshall is a 17-18 point favorite this weekend. Louisville is tough. I'm surprised the FSU - UL game is at noon. Gameday is supposed to be in Louisville this weekend. No offense to Marshall, but I think the only way UL doesn't cover an 11 point spread on Marshall is if Lamar gets injured.

That's not what I'd call making a living off of rejects. What would Marshall be, even with its schedule and conference full of FCS teams pretending to be FBS teams, without props and rejects?

It's funny watching Herd fans wanting Marshall to get into the AAC.

Small fish in a very small pond. That's where Marshall shines and its administration knows it. Thus the reason for blaming its hard times on Snyder, hiring a new coach and weakening the Herd's schedule drastically.

Worked like a charm. See how big time Herd fans think Marshall is now?

What is funny is that they now realize that the MAC is the conference they should have never left. The AAC scares them to death because the increased level of competition they would have to face without their bread and butter prop 48's and P5 rejects would translate into not winning 10 games every year. What's funnier is that even though they know CUSA is going to drag them into obscurity, they are afraid to leave their comfort zone. Maybe the funniest thing of all is the Herdiot posters that visit this forum to enlighten us with their BS about how they are the "flagship"......

That's a reasonable assessment

I think the only reason the spread isn't greater is due to Marshall's recent history of beating Louisville even when they were clearly better.

They haven't set a line yet on the Marshall-Louisville game. The 11 points is from Maurine's prediction, 41-30. I was telling him how ridiculous that was but he wouldn't place a wager to back up his mouth.

I believe the oops is on you, unless you can show me a JC player on Michigan's roster. You do understand the difference between a JC and a graduate transfer student, right? If not, it's about 3 points on the grade point average, aka GPA.

Michigan,
The two links I provided clearly shows Michigan has taken JUCOs.

And I believe Wayne State University is Division II program. So, you have a Division II transfer.

You also have a player that transferred from St. Thomas Aquinas College, another D II program.

**** Tree, please copy & paste from either of your two articles information in regard to Michigan signing a JUCO transfer. Wayne State? That's a DII program. Nothing close to resembling a JUCO program. Are you this dense?

Taking JUCOs is nothing to be ashamed of. Cam Newton was a JUCO player.

I didn't say it was. Obviously, JUCOs are taken by programs like WVU due to having to fill glaring needs, due to not being able to recruit with the big boys. A WVU fan seemed to indicate that every team in the country took on JUCOs. I can assure you the military academies don't, and without looking, the extremely hard to get into type schools have an issue getting them. I think in the history of Michigan, they may have taken one, possibly two, and neither of them were able to make the grade. The one that comes to mind was Brian Shaw, a quarterback, and guess who attempted to get him? None other than ROD, who was faced with not having a QB to run his 'spot the ball' offense during his first year at UM. Programs like Michigan, Stanford, Northwestern don't actively go for JUCOs, due to it being damn near impossible to get their grades to transfer over. It is what it is.

9 players drafted in the NFL in the last two years, two of them being first rounders. Yeah, he can't recruit.

So you're saying he can't coach? You'd think with all that "talent" you'd be moving out of the B12 basement by now
