Recruiting question....Concerning class ranking

So I know depending on where I look what WVU'S recruiting class ranking is right now. My question is IF WVU somehow lands Justin Crawford and Malcolm Pridgeon how big of a jump does that give WVU's class ranking? Also does the current ranking include White and Ferns or does the ranking go up if and when they sign? I'm just looking for some insight on how class rankings work and the impact 1 or 2 4 star recruits can have on said ranking. Thanks

Your class ranking also depends on how the teams around you finish. Additionally uncommitted players like Ferns are not in the current rankings but White is committed and so he does currently count.

Thank you for answering Vernon! My only other question: Is there a rule of thumb so to speak on how much a 4 star recruit adds to a ranking? Hypothetically speaking, if WVU'S class is ranked 30th does a 4 star recruit add enough to put that class into a top 25 class. I guess I'm looking for any kind of lose formula as to how much value a 5 star, 4 star , 3 star recruit adds to overall class ranking. I have just never seen an answer to this question and figured someone on here could give me an idea as to how much value each individual recruit adds to overall class ranking. Thanks again!
