Unselfish. Deep. Full of role players who step up. Regardless of the results from this coming week this is a a fun bunch to watch and an easy bunch to root for. The stop...the pop...and two!
Really like this year's basketball team.

They are fun to watch just like last year. Hopefully they won't be doomed by certain match-ups like Baylor last year that easily handled our boys in all 3 outings. But a lot of those guys are playing their guts out for WVU and you can't ask for much more than that.
A team that is winning is easy to like. Let WV lose a few (think Kansas and Oklahoma) and the detractors will raise their collective heads. A few folks (like yourself) will remain loyal.

What I love most about this team, other than Huggins, who sounds like WVU lost in every post-game press conference, is that the other side can't focus on one star to assure victory.
The Mountaineers are coming at them like machinegun fire from the pass-in attempt to the shot try. Relentless. First they grind on the opponents, then they grind them up in the 2nd half when they are exhausted. Nearly every foe's free throw percentage is below its season average because they're too tired to shoot the unguarded shot from 15 feet.
This could be a special season. Again. Huggins is 11th all-time among all college basketball coaches, and 3rd among those still coaching.
