Realistically, what are WVU's options?

I'm not even about to start a rant. I feel I have personally done my part at defending Holgorsen and Howard. Now the season is over and I'm ready to make a decision. Coaching cost us this game. Coaching cost us against Oklahoma State. Averaging 7 yards a rush, try to throw the ball all game. Howard hurt, run him not Smallwood on deciding play of the game. K State return man killing us, keep kicking it to him. Defense has taken huge strides. Offensive side regression.The 4th down call was the deal breaker for me. Smallwood is your best player and you run an injured Howard. Not good enough. So what does WVU do? Rodriguez? Tony Gibson? Nothing?

Well when you have mediocrity it doesn't hurt to make a change. No guarantee that the next guy will be he guy but all your ever gonna get with the coaching staff is 7-6. might as well try another option

Nothing. Save the money as it is a seller's market right now and I'm not sure there will be many good options available for hire this year that WVU can outbid the remaining schools still looking (Southern Cal, UGA, South Carolina, etc...) But, keep your eye's peeled that unless DH pulls off some kind of miraculous 2016, some one is waiting in the wings for 2017.

I agree....we can get a hell of a lot better for what we are paying Dana. HE IS NOT A HEAD COACH. I would argue he's not an off coordinator based on today's play calling! What does he see in Skyler Howard? I'll never know!! Bye bye....we will win 7 with or without him next year.

It is amazing that some keep saying that WVU doesn't have options therefore we should just continue for yet "another year." Schools all over the country with higher or lower profiles than WVU are making changes...while we wait until???????????

WVU has the personality of DH...loose, from the hip, and undisciplined. Not going to change in another year...or two or whatever.

Tired of the "we are in the Big 12 now" excuses. The Mountaineers are coached by a bad HC who is coaching badly.

Give the fan base some hope and can this loser.

I don't know, but Mr. Earp wouldn't have run a QB who could barely move on the most important play of the game...

I thought the ball game was lost on the 2nd and 5 at about the 20 just before the last field goal. The pass play on 2nd and 5 confused me to set up a situation where you knew Dana was going to call a pass . By the way. What happened to try and run the ball to the right in the second half. There are two sides of the field. But we dropped some easy catches and Snyder simply out coached Dana as he does every year. Oh well, its a game. I came within 10 minutes of dying 3 years ago. So, its just a game and I am just asking questions. But that 2nd and 5 run perplexed me. Why not run and see give your QB 3rd down options if you dont make the first down.
