So at my last checkup my dentist said it looked like I had a little decay on a previously filled tooth. I was having no pain or problems with it but you do what is best. So on June 20th I have it filled. Seemed like a standard filling. No problems at first but since the 21st I can't chew on that side or get sugar on it or temperature without it setting off a sharp pain on that whole side of teeth. The tooth beside it had a root canal and crown several years ago. So is this a case of a deep filling that has irritated the nerve and will go away or is something wrong. It doesn't hurt unless I chew on it or sugar or cold drink hits it.
