When these contracts are initally written, are they written where the funding is exclusively guaranteed by the athletic department budget or does the AD get big money people involved to help with guaranteed funding? Even though it is being reported that the buyout funding is there, maybe its not. Peoples portfolios are taking a big hit right now to the tune of 30-40% because of this crappy economy and money may be difficult to part with. To me it's bad timing to have to fund anything. #poor.
