in the 4th qtr, was that a fake or was that a bad snap?

The play was like 4th and 22. I went to the bathroom and they didn't show the replay.

Texas Tech just decided not to go for it. They basically sort of took a knee and gave the ball to the Mountaineers. Heck, I knew what Holgs was gonna do with the football. Holgs knows what to do with the football! He kept the gas down right up until the end.

...yeah, I was wondering that too...snap seemed to go to one of the up men....they were showing the shot from behind the punter, and there was no further conversation about it....or replay from a side angle...

If that was a planned fake on 4th and 22, somebody needs to be fired or demoted from special teams. 4th and 2 yeah, 4th and 22, heck no.

"WVU lined up in punt formation following three unsuccessful plays. Up-back Ron Wolfley noticed the BC defense overloaded to the left. Instead of having the ball snapped to punter Steve Superick, Wolfley signaled for the football to be sent to him.

To the surprise of everyone in the stadium (including the West Virginia coaches), Wolfley took the football and raced 67 yards untouched to the end zone. Woodside added the conversion to give the Mountaineers a 14-0 lead with just 10:35 expired in the first quarter."

I think this was a 4 and 15 or something like...link

There seems to be some bathroom issues here. I thought we just corrected that... at least at the stadium. I have a nephew who is plumber who might help you with your problem.

Watching it live, it looked like a fake attempt, but the more I think about it, the more it seems like a poor snap.

The announcers didn't talk about it because they'd already clocked out, as evidenced by our final two TDs in which they were like, "well, there you go." I'm sure they watched that botched punt/fake attempt and said something to that effect.

Texas Tech ran a play that Kingsbury scripted for such an occasion. Holgs and Kings go back a long way and are setting WVU up for a NC run. That's what feller 'shiny shoes' are telling me.
