Kind of hard to believe a D1 program would allow a high school coach who's that awful to continue coaching. With the weak OOC schedule, I predicted they would only win 7..maybe. I was frowned upon by the homers.

I had to look it up a few weeks back when someone posted the non-conference lineup. It's a small school in Charlotte that plays in a 3,000 seat GYM, about 1/2 the size of the Fayette County Memorial Building where I was a chick magnet back in the day. I also didn't realize it at the time, but Glenville is also part of the regular season non-conference slate. I just found that out a few days back, as I thought that was an exhibition game. I still think Dan is fortunate to have scheduled the men's team instead of the women's team though.

It just has to be an awful time down in Huntington. Football team floundering. Basketball team most knew would be awful, and then it's going to lead right into baseball season for a squad that still doesn't have a field to play on, unless you consider the local YMCA field to meet their needs.

my son lives a mile or so from one of the Gville lady players.....wouldn't be surprised if they won it again this year......on the men's side it's a tossup...methinks "The Doctrine" has run it's course....just like another sport at another state institution
