A thought and idea to discuss:
Yes, CRT exists.
A true grassroots endeavor of doing a traveling caravan twice a year to all cities and towns in WV, would pay big dividends if done properly. Even going into Marshall territory...
Need a shark of a businessman, businesswoman, combined with a "WV Guy" to get the job done.
Working population of WV is reported to be around 715K. Get just 3% of these working individuals to pay $10 per month on an automatic withdraw system. This is 2.5M per year.
Is this enormous compared to the top 15 programs? No. Does it deepen the pot considerably from where we are at now? Yes. Can it only grow from there? Yes.
This does not include larger donations from well payed citizens, product sales, and donations from small business that start to show up. Could easily reach 5 to 6M within a few years if done properly.
This could pay for quality lineman so desperately needed.
Big money corporate donors will always spend more then this, yet WVU will always need more. Get it where we can and be creative.
