For the first 30 minutes of practice today we'll be on the field, with the ability to shoot video and pictures as the team works through various drills. I've been wanting to try out the new Periscope app, which allows for live video to be streamed directly through your phone, so no time like the present. I'm going to be multi-tasking, certainly, throughout the practice, but I figured this would be a good opportunity to test this baby out and provide you guys with live streaming video of the practice session.
If you have a Twitter account and follow me, once you download the Periscope app I should automatically be added as an account you follow. If not, my handle on the app is the same as on Twitter (@marc_b). Following Dana's media briefing, I'll wander around the field providing live streaming coverage of the practice through Periscope. Unfortunately, the video is limited through the app, so you'll need the app in order to catch the action.
As always, we'll have the usual videos and coverage up here on the site shortly after the practice concludes, but in trying to stay with the hot social media trends of the moment, figured I'd give this a shot for you guys today.
