If you writhe in agony because your team lost to a top 10 team in January you are probably a mid major wannabe who isnt used to making the dance.

It happens.

I think that (not to down play a conference road win) it’s time to call Rutgers over rated, wouldn’t you think?
Rutgers at No. 15 is overrated, but the Knights do have an impressive win over No. 12 Illinois, a team that has two likely first round picks in the next NBA Draft. Ohio State came roaring back from a 16-point deficit to thump a 6-0 Rutgers team two plus weeks ago, and the Knights have been reeling ever since. Now, let's talk about WVU's No. 14 ranking. It's time to call WVU overrated, too, wouldn't you think? Your best "wins" are actually close losses to very good teams. Your best win was (at the time, anyway) over Richmond, a team that Saint Bonaventure and mighty Hofstra have beaten, too. WVU should have dropped a lot further in the polls after the blowout loss at Kansas, and doesn't deserve to continue to receive the benefit of the doubt, now that its lost its biggest strength, i.e., high quality depth in the frontcourt.

Ohio State didnt storm back to beat Rutgers. The refs sidelined Rutgers team and Ohio State beat their backuos.

ok tosu we hear you
Sorry that both you and your wife were distraught after yesterday's meltdown. If you had more realistic expectations for the basketball program, then you wouldn't be so disappointed. Lower your expectations commensurate with your expectations for the football program, and losses like yesterday won't cut you so deeply.

What's your excuse for yesterday's beat down at the RAC? I'll wait. Check out what the Bucks did on the glass in both meetings. Huggy Bear would be damn proud to coach this team. Rutgers' coach said that the Bucks are the most physical team in the rugged Big 10.

What excuse? Did Ohio State play yesterday?

WVU would beat Ohio State by double digits....again.

In your dreams, David Coney. WVU would have been a bad match-up pre-Oscar's defection because the Bucks don't have anybody who plays that is taller than 6'8," but now that you're down to one big, I'd love to see the schools meet in the NCAA Tournament. We're tougher than you, and I wouldn't have said that before this season. Check out freshman Zed Key from New York; there is a reason that Huggins gave him an offer. Dude is a beast.

Started drinking early? Good for you.

Raise your hand if your basketball team is still in the top 15.

Hand raised.

Congratulations! Y'all moved UP after a loss at home. Now that y'all aren't playing at all, I expect y'all to be in the Top 10 by the end of the month.

Wisdom from the ohio state fan so lost he lives on a wvu marshall smcack board.

Rutgers beat Illinois, and WVU beat...uhhhh...the pesky Richmond Spiders? Yeah, y'all deserve to be ranked 13th.

Ken Pom has WVUs SOS at 9 and OSU at 64.

Go sit down Queen.

I recall the poor soul talking about UMASS-Lowell and how they beat someone who beat someone. Ohio State struggled against the mighty River Hawks. Huggins would own Ohio State again if we played

Congrats, as some of your games have been against some really good teams...and you've lost every single one of them. You're the tallest midget.

Keep making excuses why WVU is considered better than OSU by everyone with a 3 digit IQ.

The best thing about college hoops is the NCAA Tournament. Losing a close game to a good team won't advance you to the next round, but good luck without Oscar and Cottrell. The WVU chest-thumpers don't seem to be posting about football these days...wonder why.

There are literally 30 threads about football on here active.

I am sorry you are a man without a home.

Not one active football thread in the Woodshed, Coney. Meth is a dangerous drug.

Y'all are almost KenPom schedule strength champions...yahoo! Will you buy a t-shirt memorializing this remarkable "accomplishment?" Good Gawd, y'all are desperate. If anybody should be gloating about his college basketball team, then it is MichiganHerd. His team continues to win every game, only to get jobbed by the same pollsters who elevate WVU in the rankings after a loss.

I would agree. WVU is right now worthy of being higher than 20. The bad loss at Kansas and Oklahoma are telling.

Michigan has played and beat two ranked teams at home. In addition, have only played two games on the road. It’s early so I won’t get to exercised over rankings yet one way or the other.

I thought that Michigan benefited from an extremely favorable B1G schedule to start the season, Coach, but now that the Skunk Bears are trashing good teams, I have to give them some credit. They went on a 43-6 run vs. Wisconsin last night. They'll likely exact revenge in February against the Bucks, who thumped them twice last season.

Coach West does, as he started the poll conversation with a question about Rutgers' ranking. More importantly, who cares about Ken Pom Pom's strength of schedule ratings, especially when all that your team does is lose to the highly rated teams on its schedule?

Its just not fun discussing a topic with a moron. Ken Pom is not a poll. It is an equation. No poll matters, especially in January. The only poll that ultimately matters is the tourney field.

NET ratings are what matters to the NCAA Selection Committee, so put your Ken Pom Poms down.

Dont talk about your strength if you cant back that shit up. I hate to be like Nick Saban and destroy you but you opened your dicksucker so it needed to be done.
