I have seen everything from 2% to 72%. How the hell can there be such a disparity in something that should be factual?!?

My wife, though born in Ohio, is of Syrian descent, as are my kids through genetics from their mom, obviously, and I don't want those refugees in West Virginia because you cannot with complete certainty say that there is no terrorist threat posed by any of them.
We have enough of our own problems with murders and rapes and kidnappings and drugs, etc... We don't need to live in fear every time we go to the grocery store or every time we send our kids to school. The terrorists only attack the weak. They only attack those unprepared or incapable of defending themselves. So it will be in schools, and other "gun free zones" that attacks will occur. It will be symbolic attacks against unarmed soldiers in recruiting stations or in careterias waiting unarmed to ship out.
We should have carpet bombed them all to hell to start with. Our new way of playing fair in our wars is what got us Vietnam and Iraq/Afghanistan. In WW2, we used flamethrowers to burn them out of their holes. Nowadays we put our own soldiers in jail for taking "compromising" pics of the sweet little POWs that are trying to kill us.
We will never win this war fighting the way we do now.

That's hardly the point.
This paranoia or whatever over refugees is wholly unfounded. Only about 1% of the applicants ever even get to the placement phase, and they are assigned a country, they don't get to choose. And then they enter the US vetting process IF they made it that far AND were assigned to the US. That vetting process takes up to 2 years. That is hardly the route a terrorist would take to get into the US because their chances of even getting here through that process is so minuscule that it's not worth trying.
Since 9/11 we have taken in over 750,000 refugees, and exactly THREE have been found to be planning terroristic attacks, and none of those were planned for the US. In the time that it took me to write this, probably more than 3 people died from car accidents or gun violence. You are far more likely to die from a dog attacking you, or just about any other thing you can think of. Maybe even a shark attack as well.
They can relocate all of the refugees for WV in my city if they wish. Push out all of the meth heads and cookers in the state and give their houses to the refugees and we'd all be much safer.
Maybe d'Antonio could find a few bball players in the refugees. Let them in and let DD recruit out of the pool of refugees
