Out of boredom, I watched a little Georgia Southern football

They are our first opponent after all. I was only able to watch a small sample because YouTube doesn't have a lot of their 2014 stuff outside of game highlights.

Offense:
Their QB is good for their offense. He isn't exactly polished in the passing game, though. Success against him revolves around keeping his running ability contained.

Overall, they all seem to have knowledge of their offense, but I don't see a "main weapon " on their team.

Watching their o-line play against GT was comical. Their left guard tipped a large amount of plays by his stance. There was one play where he lined up WAY behind the center and left tackle. It should have brought a procedural penalty. It was quite obvious he was going to pull to the right. I don't know if the GT game was the only instance of this because it was the only full game available on YouTube.

They LOVE to run the wheel route after they pass the 50. They run it a lot to the right when the ball is snapped from the right hash.

Defense:

Or lack thereof. As long as we hit the open man, and don't turn the ball over a lot, we should be fine. Seriously, their defensive line is terrible.

Overall, here are my best predictions for the game.

Henry gets at least one interception on a deep ball.

Karl Joseph blows up at least one RB taking a pitch on the option.

Our running game gets Cody Clay and Jordan Thompson both a touchdown reception. We should grind them down until they start biting on play action.

We win by a lot. I have full confidence for the opener.
