An ape at the Salt Lake City zoo has predicted that the Carolina Panthers will win the Super Bowl. The annual event occurred Thursday. Animals at the zoo have correctly predicted the Super Bowl winner eight straight years. Zoo spokeswoman Erica Hansen says Tuah, a 1-year-old orangutan, chewed up a cardboard Panthers sign and later kissed a paper-mache Panthers helmet. Hansen says he never touched the Denver Broncos sign or helmet. However, Hansen says Tuah's older sister gave Broncos fans hope when she entered the enclosure later and put the Broncos helmet on her head. This was Tuah's first time handling the duties. His father picked seven straight winners before his death in 2015. A lion stepped in last year since Tuah was still too young to perform his obligations. The Lion kept the streak alive by correctly picking the New England Patriot

Panthers are going to win if Cam stays healthy. Both defenses will have success, but barring the unforeseen, such as over the top turnovers by the Panthers and Special Teams hiccups, I expect the Panthers O to handle their matchup better than Peyton and co.

If there was a lock in this game though, Id predict the under.
