i wonder if it's cause he's not enjoying Cincinnati and/or he wants to be free to try and get back in at a P5 school
It's because he was 4-8 and allowed to resign rather than be fired.i wonder if it's cause he's not enjoying Cincinnati and/or he wants to be free to try and get back in at a P5 school
I LOVE seeing C'town, becoming more and more Ilrelevant . . so don't want to see them in Big Boy Football . .It's because he was 4-8 and allowed to resign rather than be fired.
And that's why he's gone. UC wants to be sure and be in a position to grab the B-12 ring if it ever comes around.I LOVE seeing C'town, becoming more and more Ilrelevant . . so don't want to see them in Big Boy Football . .

He was owed $900,000 if fired. They worked something out. What's his contract look like? If he has money on it, you do not resign.
IMO, something smells fishy...
I bet Tubberville has another job lined up.
That guy is a one of a kind. I remember when at Ole Miss, "they'll carry me out of here in a pine box." Not even 48 hrs later he's at a presser in Auburn getting announced.
At Texas Tech he's meeting with recruits in Lubbock selling on being a red raider. 24 hrs later he's standing with Whit Babcock in the Queen City. This was after he lost the Tennessee Vol job to then Cincinnatti coach Butch Jones. Would not shock me in the least if he is not standing at a podium tomorrow getting introduced as the New Head Coach somewhere.
