this is why I like college football better. Schools don't pick up and move for a new stadium in a new city, well except Pitt & Miami, but it was just for a more open feel & leg room.

Best line I've heard from N Dallas 40. "Every time I say it's a game, you say its a business, and every time I say it's a business you say it's a game."

I think the bubble for pro sports, even the NFL, will burst and all these mega stadiums that are brand new will set at below capacity..

It may happen in college too, but at least college fans have a connection to the school and/or state.

Being a fan of a NFL team is like being a fan of GE, Samsung, Walmart, Starbucks, PNC, ect. They are just a business product with some slick marketing.

I haven't watched a complete NFL game in years and I don't expect that to change. It's a low-down organization that I want no part of, unfortunately I'm subjected to idiots and their fantasy trades on a daily basis.

I like how you put that and there is a lot of truth in that statement. Ive been too a couple NFL games and a helluva lot of WVU games. The difference in game day exspierence is huge. Ill take college football game over any NFL game (sans The SuperBowl) every time.

How many times are the Rams gonna be aloud to move back to California. It's like there summer home in the coast. I sure hope stedman can keep out of trouble out there

they should make these teams fund their own stadiums. That would stop the nonsense.

I really think in 30 to 40 years pro football will all but be dead. Junior high and high schools will begin to ban football because of injuries and young folks simply not interested anymore. I truly hope this is not the case ,but based on my observation of the younger people that I am exposed to. This will kill the roots and the tree will die.

the only thing that would cause that would be concussion and permanent injury lawsuits bankrupting the league. With each team worth nearly a billion dollars, that's not likely. There's just too much money to be made to keep kids away.

i don't think football will be banned.

But and I say BUT the NFL is getting as arrogant as baseball was. Baseball ie pro baseball used to be Americas passtime. Then they had a season that didn't have an ending. You also had a drug problem that was ridiculous. Then the ticket costS went crazy and too many games and too many teams. Too much expansion..They ruined their sport, and it's still dying.

For football & the NFL, they're doing the same things baseball did. The NFL has a PED drug problem (that why concussions are such a problem-bigger faster stronger, well not the brain or skull). Add in the pro stadium costs that are passed on to ticket buyers and PSLs & the craziness talk of regular season and playoff expansion & team expansion (in Europe even) for more $$$$$ and it's déjà voo all over again. I think this country is one baaaad economic event from a lot of pro sports really getting hurt, but the NFL will get hurt the most cause it has farthest to fall. Just my $0.02

So teams keep failing in LA... ...and now two (Chargers are going too) are gonna try in the same stadium at the same time ?

I keep reading how it works for the Jets/Giants but they had well established fan bases before they started sharing a stadium.

....but maybe I missing some history.....
