Was impressed with the effort AFTER the 1st...thought they played with some fortitude on the D to get the puck up front, more sticks in the way disrupting the Rangers transition...LaPierre put his money where his mouth was finally and was a disruptive pest, Sid won a good number of draws, Malkin was skating and Flower held us in there till the end...may have a chance at a few wins here if they can keep up the work ethic I saw in the second half...they will come strong on Sat night however, this was one I was thinking we could steal halfway through the 2nd onward...not this time...

You're chumming (the bait version of the word).... ...and here I am.

When the new board arrives you can just PM me and one or two others..

....but really, the Pens looked pretty good imo. Sure, most (ALL REALLY) was after they were down 2-0... ...but still, they looked good and really didn't do much.

I'm going to Beer this thread up.... ....the ratio of power plays was BS.

LOL...Like clockwork bEER?!? If Sid could be coached up to Penalty kill instead of 3.46 mins in the first we might have had a chance...Happy you enjoyed a fairly good game LowFatMilk...

It's the slow season on here between foootball/basketball...just throwing some chatter out there...well...and being a bit of a Penguin Nuisance

I have no issues with the penalties assessed to the Pens. But there were two non calls on the Rangers in the third that bothered me. One was a tackle on Comeau behind the net and the 2nd was a hold/interference when Geno was held.

The fact that the Pens have 1 PP in two games is puzzling to say the least

Yep...the penalties assessed were all legit, and a painful result of the ineptitude on D...injuries have decimated them there and I can't fault the inexperienced help that is plainly not good enough to handle the Rangers forecheck, which seemed to come in waves at least in the first anyway...Here's hoping tonight they can whether the storm and get the puck out quick. Not holding my breath...
