Not in my character to be this forward about asking for help, but I was recently laid off from my job at Under Armour. I’m certainly not the only one as the job market is becoming more difficult in the current economy.
I would greatly appreciate any advice or help in terms of finding a new role. I worked remotely in my previous job, but live an hour or so from Northern VA.
I am 31 so I would assume I qualify for mid-level roles. My position for 3 years at Under Armour involved Business Planning, Strategy, and Operations for Technology. Prior to that, I worked in Business Development and Market Research for a Healthcare system. I acquired a Master’s degree in Finance to differentiate myself from MBA’s and to sharpen a skill set I tremendously lacked in, but have essentially done the same work an MBA would.
