I was at an Oscar Smith hs game around 2005..a helicopter lands in the baseball field near the football field..I'm leaning on the fence and really by myself..this guy in UVA gear gets out and walks my way....the guy comes right beside me and asks me..which one is Whitmore..I saw it was Al Groh..and pointed out B Whitmore...Groh stayed around 15 minutes and left..well BW he signed with Maryland..thought is was strange that Groh didn't know his number.
