I am a person that loves having tons of ice at my disposal but up until now had just gone the 7-11 route and purchased the 10 lb bags whenever I needed. But after searching the interwebs, I came across a great idea that absolutely does work and provides tons of ice and storage as well. If you have access to a chest freezer, you can outfit the unit with 1 or even 2 ice makers and have a cost friendly 24-7 ice maker and storage solution.
