We are incredibly lucky to have both Ike Morris and Ken Kendrick in our corner. Both KK and Ike are in their 80s... while I hope they can live to 100 that's not statistically likely. Do either have children? Do they have a plan for continuing support after their gone...? Now maybe that sounds a little depressing to discuss etc HOWEVER I have a WVU example to point to. Those of us old enough to remember (and those young enough to ask who our stadium is named for) remember when Milan Puskar passed and WVU was supposedly gonna get some huge donation ... even suggestions back then in the press to that and as I recall what happened was no such thing materialized in fact the Puskar heirs I think had some internal family fight over money.
Of course no suggestion on my part WVU is owed anything by either KK or Ike as they have done so much already... but if their is no plan I think it would be smart for WVU to court some additional donors (I am sure they are and I am sure replacing either would be easier said than done). Maybe over time someone like McAfee accumulates enough wealth to substitute but who knows.
