--There should be around 16 official visitors this coming weekend barring some moving and shaking. There is the list I have so far, but will of course add to it.

Hurricane (W.Va.) 2025 wide receiver Tyshawn Dues
Huntington (W.Va.) 2025 safety Zah Jackson
Haverford (Pa.) Haverford School offensive center Thomas Barr
Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch 2025 wide receiver Samari Reed
Cape May (N.J.) Lower Cape May 2025 athlete Braswell Thomas
Nashville (Tn.) Lipscomb Academy 2025 defensive lineman Amir Leonard-Jean Charles
Burtonsville (Md.) Paint Branch 2025 defensive end Yvan Kemajou
Irmo (S.C.) Dutch Fork 2025 cornerback Elgin Sessions
Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch 2025 defensive end Romando Johnson
Berlin (Md.) Stephen Decatur 2025 safety Davin Chandler
Auburndale (Fla.) 2025 cornerback Sammy Etienne
Macomb (Mi.) Dakota 2025 offensive lineman Justin Bell

--Don't get too caught up in counting Let's Go's this summer. With how much the rules have changed, West Virginia is counting commitments when they go public so until that happens the Mountaineers are going to be working to fill slots.

--West Virginia is likely done now at both quarterback and running back.

--Expect the Mountaineers to continue to target wide receivers to join Hurricane (W.Va.) 2025 wide receiver Tyshawn Dues. Both Cheshire (Ct.) Academy 2025 wide receiver Teriq Mallory and Drexel Hill (Pa.) Monsignor Bonner 2025 wide receiver Jalil Hall visited this past weekend and the Mountaineers are in a good spot for both. Now, obviously they need to close the deal but even with those two in the fold it's likely the program looks at some others. Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch 2025 wide receiver Samari Reed will visit this coming weekend and is a top target, while Danville (Ky.) Boyle County 2025 athlete Montavin Quisenberry will take a visit to Louisville and then likely announce a decision. One name to keep in mind is Ironton (Oh.) 2025 wide receiver Shaun Terry because the program is trying to get back in the mix but there is a long list of options there including Missouri where he is expected to take a visit to this coming weekend.

--West Virginia has one tight end in De Forest (Wi.) 2025 tight end Jackson Accuardi and welcomed Columbia (S.C.) Hammond School 2025 tight end Mike Tyler to campus this past weekend. That is a situation where the Mountaineers will likely need to go a ways for that one because he isn't likely to decide anytime soon. If Tyler isn't in the class, it could come down to later on to determine if there will be another in the group.

--West Virginia will play host to Macomb (Mi.) Dakota 2025 offensive lineman Justin Bell this coming weekend and it seems that a tackle body type is what the coaching staff is looking for to round out the group.

--The Mountaineers will take 4-5 on the defensive line and at least one at bandit. It goes without saying that players that came this past weekend on the defensive line are key priorities in Opa Locka (Fla.) Monsignor Pace 2025 defensive end Wilnerson Telemaque, Cleveland Heights (Oh.) 2025 defensive lineman Jayquan Stubbs, Dandridge (Tn.) Jefferson County 2025 defensive lineman Nic Moore and Cleveland Heights (Oh.) 2025 defensive lineman Brandon Caesar.

--Expect the Mountaineers to take anywhere from four to five defensive backs in this class and they are expected to bring a number in this summer. That list that came this past weekend is obviously some of those in Anderson (S.C.) T.L. Hanna 2025 cornerback Cam Strong, Chattanooga (Tn.) McCallie School 2025 safety Carson Lawrence, Tampa (Fla.) Gaither 2025 cornerback Serious Stinyard, Cincinnati (Oh.) Winton Woods 2025 athlete Seaonta Stewart, Richmond (Va.) Trinity Episcopal 2025 safety Terrance Edwards and North Potomac (Md.) Quince Orchard 2025 defensive back Aydan West. There will be more coming this weekend such as Berlin (Md.) Stephen Decatur 2025 safety Davin Chandler and Auburndale (Fla.) 2025 cornerback Sammy Etienne. Also expect Cape May (N.J.) Lower Cape May 2025 athlete Braswell Thomas to likely end up on the defensive side of the ball as well.

--Columbus (Oh.) Marion Franklin 2025 cornerback Dawayne Galloway came on an official visit by himself and the Mountaineers are in the mix along with a number of others.

--There will be one more official visit weekend this summer after this one coming up June 21-23.
