Ol' Westerns

Only one team succumb, there in Morgantown
And the football world will always know

Branded- sworn as punks they ran
What did WVU fans do when they saw a GSU beat down is at hand

Whatever WVU does for the rest of the year
They must live
like B!tch -up fans.

.

Staring
TALON as Doc & Shortgap as ED Baily.

Setting- Morgantown bar, Sept 6th after the game.
Shortgap upset that WVU lost the game and now loses to TALON.

"Why gap ,does this mean we cant be friends anymore?
You know Gap if I thought we weren't friends anymore - I don't think I could bare it!"

[Staring
TALON as Doc & Couch as Johnny Ringo.

Setting- Morgantown Barbershop, Sept 4th before the game.
Couch is upset that TALON and his GSU Tailgating friends have taken over Morgantown..

Drunk, Couch comes out to challeng GSU tailgaters walking the streets of Morgantown.

LOL... Actually, Tombstone (that version) is one of my favorite movies....

Moments after the GSU beatdown, in the Blue Lot,Talon and his Cowboys are looking to ambush the WV women, children, and handicapped. I happen upon him....He claims he was only 'fool'n around'. Couch is only smoking for dramatic effect.

Why, Talon...... You look like somebody just.....walked over your football team.

Bwha, ha, ha, ha, ha - good post!
My fav Western of all times and a top 10 pick in my collection.

Still you are a savage for high jacking my character, Doc.
-10 for originality. ;-)

How many in your tailgate?

Good Lord. Hard to tell. Probably 20-30(for real)... Let me count.... There's me, Erin Andrews, I think Kate is gonna make it(she's shooting some other swimsuit cover for some rag, can't remember the name. Maybe it is for Game of War or something... I don't deal with such)... Leonardo may be there. Most of the Fox and ESPN anchors and crew.....But, yeah, there's probably 20/30. TALON is more than welcome(dress as if you weren't raised by wolves please). Will even admit ValleyBoy.......unless you are "together" then it is implied.

THANKS, I doubt I can come, but we'll talk more 2 weeks before the game.
The last long trip I took was to Oregon to watch GSU play the Ducks, but that was in the late 90s. For the last 4 years I've only made a few trips to Statesboro
. I was lucky last year that the games were on network and ESPN3.

Headed to Orlando today to take my mother on a balloon ride for her 77th birthday.
The balloon is tethered so she wont be able to get away from me.

Dana Holgorsen laments that the game is not being played in Statesboro Georgia a shrimps throw from Savannah.

"Now Statesboro is the place to be
I get allergic smelling coal dust
cotton fiels spred'n out so far and wide
You can keep Mtown just give me that coastal plain."

Have TALONS, will Travel

TALON, TALON where do you roam.
TALON, TALON far, far from home

Have flamer will travel reads the card of the man
A knight without armer in a savage West Vergina land

His fast wit for his opponents heeds the calling wind
A soldure of fortune is the man called TALON

CoucherMan, ChoucherMan lived in a mine
CoucherMan, CoucherMan was a Bourbon drink'n swine.

Posting his drivel up against TALON's waggishness
The poor little b@$tArd never stood a chance

His honor forced him to bet a $2 dollar bill
A months worth of save'n in a the dusty coal hills

CoucherMan, CoucherMam don't come to the game
Stay in the cavern to hide your shame

Tell him Rowdy is plumb tired of beef and beans. We got halfway across Oklahoma Territory when Rowdy was struck down by an impacted bowel on the last drive.

Rowdy has a temper. You might have heard what happened when those folks in Molybdenum ticked him off.

BTW, thanks for the memories. I was around for the first run of those old shows.
