Please allow me to sum it up early.

The Jayhawks came to play, but the Cowboys are just vastly more talented. Kansas logs another bad loss and again looks to reverse the trend next week. (This will change some day, but not yet.)

I want to throw up. I did say to stay away from that spread earlier this week, so I guess I saw this coming to an extent, but that was UGLY.

We can't get Lunt back soon enough. Lots of injuries to worry about now, probably thanks to the weather. Jeremy Smith had to come out after just one play. We need him or Randle's going to have to log 300+ carries, and that's a LOT more than he's ever had. Tracy Moore and Isaiah Anderson left this game early too. That's both starting outside receivers and all the seniors in the receiver group. If they don't play next week we start two sophomores, a JUCO and probably a freshmen.

I still think this team is talented enough to defend the title, but nothing seems to be going right this year other than Texas no longer has a leg up on us.

Kudos to Kansas.

Shame on Gundy and Monken for that game plan.
