WVU Release Oklahoma Game Sold Out; Additional Big 12 Games on Sale Thursday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (December 27, 2017) -- The WVU men’s basketball Big 12 home opener against Oklahoma on Saturday, Jan. 6 is sold out, pending completion of the student ticketing process. Should any additional upper level student tickets become available for public sale, an announcement regarding availability will be made next week.


Remaining Big 12 home games will go on sale through the Mountaineer Ticket Office beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, at WVUGAME.com and 1-800-WVU GAME.


In addition to the games previously available, tickets will now be on sale for the Baylor (Jan. 9), Texas (Jan. 20), TCU (Feb. 12) and Iowa State (Feb. 24) home games. Fans are encouraged to use the 'Pick Your Own Seat' map online at WVUGAME.com to purchase available seats at the WVU Coliseum.


The Mountaineer Ticket Office is running a special ‘Fee Free Weekend’ promotion to end the 2017 calendar year. Pay no 'per-ticket' fees online at WVUGAME.com for men's basketball tickets Dec. 28 through New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 2018.


Fans interested in purchasing tickets for the WVU-Kentucky matchup on Jan. 27 must purchase the Gold mini-package, which includes the Baylor, Texas, Kentucky, TCU and Iowa State games for $200.


To purchase the Gold mini-package, fans must have an existing account through the Mountaineer Ticket Office. Orders will only be taken by the phone at 1-800-WVU GAME or by visiting the Mountaineer Ticket Office at the Gold Gate of the Coliseum. Orders are limited to eight tickets per account. Online orders will not be accepted.
