In accordance with Big 12 Conference football game interruption guidelines, the Oklahoma at West Virginia game scheduled for November 28 has been postponed. The game will be rescheduled on December 12. The time and television designation will be announced when available.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (Nov. 25, 2020) – The Big 12 Conference announced this afternoon that the Oklahoma at West Virginia football game scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 28 at Milan Puskar Stadium has been postponed in accordance with the Conference’s game interruption guidelines.

The postponement is in response to Oklahoma being unable to meet the required COVID-19 thresholds, as established by the Big 12 Conference. The conference has rescheduled the game for Dec. 12 in Morgantown and game time and television network will be released at a later time.

“I am disappointed for both teams, who have worked extremely hard in their preparation for this weekend’s game,” WVU Director of Athletics Shane Lyons said. “We will now look forward to honoring our seniors and hosting the Sooners on Dec 12.

What's the conference ruling if a conference game is not made up? Say 1 team goes 6-2 and another is 7-2. The team that is 6-2 beat the 7-2 team?

This could be a blessing. While we did have a bye week and they didnt, this extra time does give Josh C & VDC more time to heal... We def need both of them vs IowaSt & OU... So we get two bye weeks, and another week of OU prep, and a couple extra days to prep for IowaSt too... So this may turn out in our favor, we shall see.

Either way, I hope all the positive OU players fully recover!

They're not sick. They just test positive. We are playing great defense without those 2 so will not be much of a favor other than having 2 extra body's. Both of Josh C & VDC get hurt every time they step on the field.
