IMO, that is Dana's only weakness since arriving at WVU. The lack of being able to recruit a high caliber quarterback. Besides Geno, the quarterbacks have been brought in from the outside (Trickett, Howard, next year's starter Grier).

We've had to rely on transfers (JUCO or otherwise) since our first busts known as Childress and Millard. Geno also caused any capable backup to leave while he was here because no one wanted to wait. I figured Crest or Chugonov would break that but then we got Grier. I'll wait until after the spring before anointing him. I'd expect Crest to leave if he doesn't really step it up.

It's not the coach it's the place, there is a stigmatizem attached to WVU. Let's see all things equal even though Miami sucks and has been down for a good while. It's the name, the beach life etc. Miami beach or the mileground hmmm
